Open the wall. Plan the stack.
Impact folding door systems for wide residential and hospitality openings.
The opening decides more than the logo.
Folding systems create a different type of opening than sliders. Panel stack, swing path, traffic door location, structural opening, sill and drainage all need to be resolved early.
Where the panels park and how much wall or terrace space the stack consumes.
Odd/even layouts, daily-use traffic panel and opening width.
Performance sill, finished floor relationship and water management.
Head deflection, anchoring substrate and opening preparation.
Products we commonly evaluate.
These are not the only options. We can review a specified system or compare credible alternatives around the actual opening requirements.
Questions that come up before the quote.
When is a folding door better than a slider?
Folding systems can open a larger percentage of the wall, while sliders often offer fewer moving panels and different sightline/operation tradeoffs.
Do folding doors require special structural coordination?
Yes. Wide folding openings can be sensitive to head conditions and installation tolerances. Final engineering and substrate conditions matter.
Can they be used near pools or coastal environments?
Depending on the selected system and finish. Coastal exposure, hardware, drainage and maintenance should be considered during selection.
Send the project. We’ll help define the system.
Plans, window schedules, elevations, opening lists or even early dimensions are enough to start the conversation.
